At Highline Premier FC, we're eagerly preparing for an event that embodies the power of soccer to bring people together, inspire young athletes, and build an unbreakable sense of community. Our second annual Just for Girls Soccer Weekend, scheduled from August 3rd to August 6th, promises to be a testament to these ideals. This exceptional event is designed to elevate soccer skills and celebrate unity, camaraderie, and the empowerment of our female athletes.
A Weekend of Togetherness on the Horizon:
The heart of the Just for Girls Soccer Weekend will be all about unity. Our young players, ranging from birth years 2015 to 2010, will come together as one team, sharing their passion for soccer and supporting each other every step of the way. It will embody strength in diversity, where girls from different age groups will collaborate, learn, and play side by side.
Anticipating Skill Development & Empowerment:
The weekend will kick off with a series of impactful events. The training sessions on Thursday will be led by our talented coaching staff, emphasizing ball skills and teamwork. Birth years 2015 to 2013 will showcase their prowess from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, while birth years 2012 to 2010 will follow suit from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Each practice will be not only an opportunity to sharpen soccer abilities but also a chance to build lasting connections and friendships.
Friday's Jamboree will bring an electrifying showcase of unity and fun. Parents will cheer from the sidelines as girls don their white uniforms, red shorts, and white socks, displaying their skills and their spirit of togetherness. At the night's end, each player will be gifted a custom Just for Girls commemorative t-shirt, followed by a player autograph session.
Community Spirit & Connection:
Sunday's Community Event at Marination on Alki will be a highlight, as families join us for a heartwarming tailgate. The Marination team will welcome us with open arms, turning their restaurant into a home for our community. Laughter, shared stories, and delicious food will permeate the atmosphere as we head to Lumen Field for the OL Reign game.
A Glimpse of the Future:
The weekend's pinnacle will undoubtedly be the OL Reign game, where our athletes can participate in on-field activities, becoming part of the professional soccer world for a day. These experiences will showcase the limitless potential of our girls, reinforcing our belief that they are the stars of tomorrow's soccer world.
A Thank You & a Promise:
To our future HPFC families, coaches, and players, we extend an invitation to embrace the spirit of unity, empowerment, and community during the upcoming Just for Girls Soccer Weekend. We are committed to nurturing this sense of togetherness throughout the year, in practices, games, and every shared moment. Highline Premier FC's journey is about building soccer skills and creating a family that supports, uplifts and empowers each other.
Together, we will continue to write the story of empowerment through soccer, fostering strong bonds and creating an unbreakable community that will stand the test of time. We can't wait to witness what the future holds for our incredible athletes as they continue to shine on and off the field.
